Meni’s Perspective

Meni believes community management has an automation problem.

Too much of a manager’s day is still consumed by repetitive tasks — entering information, following up, checking statuses, answering the same questions, moving data between systems, and manually keeping processes moving. It overwhelms managers, slows down the operation, and ultimately frustrates the residents they serve.

Meni’s philosophy is simple: when technology or AI can reliably perform a repetitive task better and faster, people should be free to focus on the work that requires judgment, experience, and human interaction.

But effective automation requires more than adding AI to existing software. AI cannot truly automate an organization if it can only see a small part of the operation. That is why Total Association was built as one connected ecosystem, and why Clara operates from within it — able to understand what is happening across departments, perform routine work, identify what requires attention, and leave the important decisions with people.

Meni often compares technology to the tools of a craftsman. Even the best carpenter cannot do his best work without the right tools. Community managers are no different. Give talented people better tools, remove unnecessary repetitive work, and they can accomplish far more.

For Meni, the goal is not simply better software. It is to create an entire ecosystem where technology handles the repetitive complexity behind the scenes, allowing communities to operate more efficiently, transparently, and professionally.

Brett’s Perspective

Community management is becoming increasingly complex. Managers are expected to do more with fewer resources while navigating rising homeowner expectations, growing regulatory requirements, staffing shortages, and an ever-expanding list of disconnected software tools.

Brett believes the future belongs to management companies that embrace technology as a competitive advantage — not to replace people, but to empower them. Artificial intelligence, workflow automation, connected tools, and highly skilled virtual professionals will redefine how associations and multifamily communities are managed, allowing teams to deliver better service, respond faster, and operate more efficiently than ever before.

Through Total Association, Brett is committed to helping management companies build a connected ecosystem where technology works together seamlessly, giving managers more time to focus on what matters most: serving their boards, residents, and communities.
